NBA2k13 is going to be sick. Aside from the fact Allen “Mutha phuckin’” Iverson is going to be in the game, the introduction of signature skills will make it so much better than its predecessors. Why did it take 2k so long to implement skills in its nba2k series? I do not know. But hey, it gives consumers another reason to buy the game.
If you have not seen it already, here is the list of signature skills in NBA 2k13: http://2ksports.tumblr.com/post/30599271549/2k-sports-weekly-update-9-signature-skills-in-depth
So far only 4 players has had all their signature skills made public:
Blake Griffin has the Signature Skills Highlight Film, Posterizer, and Hustle Points #NBA2K13

Btw…forgive Ronnie when he made the ridiculous comment stating that Blake Griffin practically invented the art of posterizing defenders. Speaking about BG, he is rated too high. He should be a mid 70 at best.
Michael Jordan has the Signature Skills Shot Creator, Lockdown Defender, Acrobat, Finisher, and Closer. #NBA2K13

He’s Jordan, what do you expect? I think Wade will have the same skills but I’m iffy on lockdown defender, which could be easily subbed with microwave. Although, I could see Heat Rention making its way into Wade’s SS utility belt.
DRose is rated a 92 and has Closer, Acrobat, Floor General, Shot Creator, and Ankle Breaker Signature Skills #NBA2K13 @drose
— Ronnie 2K 2K13 (@Ronnie2K) September 1, 2012
Eh…a little bit high in regards to his overall rating (Would’ve had him at 89) but it’s alright. Don’t sleep on the floor general skill.
And lastly:
As shown on the Live Stream by @ronnie2k, Durant’s 5 #NBA2K13 SIGNATURE SKILLS are Shot Creator, Microwave, Deadeye, Closer and Finisher.

Yup, Kevin Durant is already kinda broken even without being a defensive force or all around offensive player. With his signature skills, he’s pretty much a GER (yup JJBA reference, deal with it. In regards to GER just read its first ability) on the offensive end. He shoots, he scores - ‘nuff said.
But yeah, hopefully they don’t forget to fix a few things from nba 2k12 such as (1) computer-controlled players dribbling the ball till a couple seconds left in the shot clock and wetting a highly contested jumper or just slamming it home. (2) Stupid ass trades (trade formula in nicer terms). (3) Players catching up to you during a fastbreak even though you had one helluva head start. Hell not even catching up to you, but being able to keep up with you even when you’re using turbo.
Also, Pistol Pete Maravich needs his wide array of flashy moves. From no look passes, behind the back passes, to trick shots - I want it all. And My Player could use a tweaking for the better (ofc).
With that being said, this could be the greatest basketball game of (cue Kanye) All Time (thus far).

Yes, I am aware video game developers tend to say that every year about their annual installment.
