Fresh from the outside-of-my-home world. Was able to watch the Bourne Legacy and catch the last three fights of UFC 150 (BEN HENDERSON! A great fight from both combatants. The fight easily could’ve gone either way. I definitely would not mind a part 3 after other fights get to stake their claim for the belt.)
So yeah…Bourne Legacy. I caught a 7:25 showing of the Bourne Legacy with some peeps (had to keep my haven’t-paid-for-a-movie-at-a-theatre) streak alive. If the first three movies of the Bourne series was not enough to get me to watch Bourne Legacy, its commercial definitely was (more so the tag line). What? You thought there was only one? “There was never just one.” Please..just take my money I must catch it. And to top it off, Matt Damon will not be in it? How in the hell will they pull that off. All above, are great and legit reasons to watch the latest movie in its series. I had my doubts about the movie especially since Damon was not going to be in it, even though Jeremy Renner is a pretty cool guy. Well..after watching the movie I was right (any many others) having any doubts. As much as I’m tempted to say the movie was shit…I’m trying to abstain from actually saying that. It was…rotten ice cream with sprinkles on top. Sure it had its badass moments in it. I even loved how they attempted to tie in what went on in the previous installment, Bourne Ultimatum, into the movie. But all in all it was about junkie trying to get his next fix super soldier, well agent in this case super agent trying to get more pills to keep the “super” in super agent. And if the previous three movies of the series did not tell you that being an agent in the CIA is a dog eat dog world well…it’s a dog eat dog world. It got to a point where all they did was talk about the meds that I had to take a glimpse at my phone which showed 9:27 at the time. As soon as I saw it was 9:27 I hoped that Bourne Legacy was some three hour spectacle and later thought it would be an awesome troll job if the movie ended right there and then. Sadly it didn’t…and was subjected to a shitty ending that you cannot help but ask for more. Not in the sense that I gave a female the best 3-4 seconds of her life and she wants more; but the “wtf is that it?” sense. Sheesh. Osi’s rating: (n) - Thumbs down. If you’ve been under a rock and have not watched The Dark Knight Rises yet, go watch that or save your money.

Can there please be a sequel where Jason Bourne and Aaron Cross become besties and go on ass-kicking adventures...
